They were all wonderful, I would recommend them all!

Ceremony Site: Hanna Gardens, WRHS: A

 The gardens were beautiful, all our guests loved the site and the outdoor ceremony.  We were able to use the space the day before for rehearsal and got in early the day of for pictures.  The big windows there made for some great photo ops!  Everyone raved about how beautiful everything was.  The mangement there has changed several times since I booked and it was a little hard to get someone actually on the phone to take my final payment.  They also forgot to put my rehearsal time on the calendar the first time I called, good thing I called to confirm with them.  So thats my only complaint there.

Officiant: Rev. James Eden: A

Very nice guy and easy to work with.  He gave us a huge word document to cut and paste to make our ceremony.  That was nice since it gave us the option to customize our ceremony without actually having to write anything ourselves.  He was very reasonably priced as well.  Sometimes a little hard to get a hold of, but no big deal.  www.edenministries.com

Ceremony Musicians: Athena Strings: A+

I booked them directly (cheaper).  Leah was very easy to work with, they were one of my easiest vendors.  I could hear the music before the ceremony and they sounded beautiful.  Love them.  www.athena-strings.com

Reception: Windows on the River: A+++++

Amazing.  Throughout the entire planning process, they were so easy to work with.  Molly always returned my phone calls or emails the same day, and solved any issues we had.  They really listened to what we wanted and made it happen.  We used the City View room and Patio.  The patio was beautiful for cocktail hour, they had plenty of open seating for guests.  The city view room was so pretty, all the guests loved the downtown view.  The bar was packed all night, no complaints there!  The food was DELICIOUS!  We are still getting comments from people about how amazing the food was, that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding.  I made sure I ate everything, and it was so good, from our hors d'oeuvres to the dinner.  Huge portions.  Highly recommend them, we loved everything.  www.windowsontheriver.com

Cake: Wild Flour: A-

Loved our cake.  The cake came with our package at Windows, but I would certainly go back there again and again.  We got to take home a sample box for our trial, which we ate for days and days!  Dave isn't a big dessert person, and he even loved the cake.  The design was perfect and it tasted amazing.  One small complaint, they inverted the placement of two of the fillings in our cake, but only I noticed that.  They also did cookie and pastry trays for the reception too, which everyone raved about.  www.wildflourbakery.com

DJ: TKO: A+

We had Ted and one of his assistants (cannot remember his name!)  They were great.  Ted came through at the last minute and got us an amp and mic for the outdoor ceremony.  They provided music during the cocktail hour too.  Ted was so much fun.  He played all the songs we wanted, and none we didn't.  They did such a great job of getting everyone out on the dance floor with a good variety of music.  Kept the party going until the very end.  They made the party.  Worth every penny.  My dad (who is a big dancer), was out there the whole night and still talks about how great they were.  www.tkodjs.com

Photographer: Easywind Studio: A++++++

One of my favorite vendors, hands down.  Scott and Julie are AMAZING.  So talented.  Scott was always easy to get a hold of and fun to work with through the whole planning process.  I am so in love with our pictures.  We cannot stop looking at them.  Scott also did our engagement pics and designed our STD...both are stunning.  All our families raved about the STD.  The day of, Scott and Julie could not have been more fun to have around.  Julie always made sure my dress and veil looked just right.   They got so many shots I didn't even realize, and were always there at the right moment.  We got so many pictures, all so great, I don't know how I'm going to pick the ones for the album.  They were there all day, almost 12 hours.  We had some teasers on their website within about 2 weeks, and the disc in about 3 1/2 weeks.  Cannot wait to see the album.  Highly, highly recommend.  www.easywindstudio.com

Videographer: Moonstuck Productions: A(pending video)

I haven't gotten my highlight video back yet, so this is just off of the day of.  Scott and his second shooter were both really nice, and helped our photographers set up our "first look".  I can't wait to see the video!  They were there all day, as long as the photographers were, and I barely saw them.  Dave said during our first dance "I haven't even seen them all day!"  haha...kinda the point!  Highly recommend www.moonpro.us

Florist: Blooms by Plantscaping: A+

Arne was so great to work with.  I loved our flowers the day of.  My bouquet and the girls bouquets were just what I pictured.  The alter arrangements he made that we also used to frame the head table were gorgeous.  I LOVE how our centerpieces came out.  Arne was great about working with what I wanted to spend and making both centerpieces work.  He came up with a vision for our head table, and it turned out great.  He was not afraid to tell me if something wasn't going to work, and in the end I just trusted him and it turned out beautifully,  I love love love how our flowers came out.  They were also on the lower end of florists we priced out.  www.plantscaping.com

Limo: Shima Limo: A-

That grade is mostly just me being picky.  Our limo was great., very very clean and comfy.  Shima was easy to work with during planning.  Our driver was early to pick us up, and even came up to the hotel room to see if we needed help bringing stuff into the limo with us.  He helped me in and out all day, and carried around flowers for the girls.  Even made a beer pit stop for the groomsmen.  My only small complaint was he took kinda a long way from Hanna Gardens to Windows, so we got to the reception only a little before the guests, but it wasn't that bad.  We also had a towncar pick us up from the reception, also very clean and nice.  Highly recommend them.  www.shimalimo.com

Hair: Colleen Sotos: A++

I love how my hair turned out.  Colleen did a great job at the trial and also on the day of.  She came to our hotel room to do me and all the girls and moms.  Her prices were amazing considering she comes to you (only a little more than I got quoted at some salons).  It was much better having her come to us, and she was a lot of fun to have around.  She works super fast too!  And my hair stayed all day, and it usually doesn't hold curl very well.  Highly recommend.

Makeup: Ramona Dauksiene: A++

Love Ramona.  I usually don't wear a lot of makeup at all, and she did a great job of making sure I looked amazing but still looked like me.  She came to us on the day of and was great to have around.  Her prices are amazing as well.  She actually came a little early (miscommunication between us) and ended up doing the girls makeup for them while she waited for me.  I loved feeling pampered that day!  Love her.  www.ramonad.com

Guest Shuttles: Company Car: A

I didn't ride in them, but all the guests said everything was great.  Very clean and comfy shuttles.  We had a 25 passenger and a 14 passenger shuttle.  They picked everyone up from the Hyatt, brought them to WRHS, then to Windows, and did a loop at the end of the night from Windows to the Hyatt.  Great prices, and the owner Steve was very easy to work with.  www.companycar.com

Guest Accomodations: Hyatt: A+++

We had about a total of 50 rooms blocked off the entire weekend, including me staying there the night before and hubby and me the night of.  The Hyatt was great.  All our guests loved the hotel and the proximity to everything downtown.  The rooms were very nice, and a great great price.  The suite we stayed in was perfect for getting ready in the day of, and the hotel staff was super accomodating the entire weekend.  www.hyatt.com

Linens: L'nique: A

We used them for our table cloths, chair covers and sashes.  Everything looked beautiful.  My planner mostly dealth with them, but they had a great selection for good prices. http://www.lnique.com/

Rehearsal Dinner: John Q's Steakhouse: A+

Great food.  Elena the general manager was very easy to deal with during planning.  The private room was completely separate from the restaurant and perfect for our group.  The food was very very good, as was the service.  We got a 3 course dinner for about $35 a person (plus tax and tip), which we thought was pretty good for downtown.  All our guests loved the food.  Highly recommend.  www.johnqssteakhouse.com

Planner: Valarie Kirkbride: A+++++++++++

Absolute favorite vendor.  I couldn't have done it without her.  Val was truely my friend during the entire process, as well as someone looking out for what I wanted.  She was so much fun to work with.  She got me great discounts with a lot of our vendors, and gave great vendor recommendations.  I wouldn't have known about Ramona or Company Car or a few other ones without her.  She was always easy to get a hold of and answered my questions promptly.  She fixed any issues that ever came up.  My day wouldn't have been half as beautiful without her decor help.  Her and her team did all our menu's, placecards, table names and all the other decor at our wedding.  The reception room took my breathe away.  She ran the rehearsl perfectly as well.  The day of, she fixed any problems and coordinated everything perfectly, I never knew of any problems.  I cannot say enough good things about her, she made my day perfect.  Highly, highly, highly recommend.  Best money we spent.  www.kirkbrides.com
